Academic organization of the UPPA In 2017, the University of Pau and Adour Lands (Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour, UPPA) reorganized ten pre-existing components into three Colleges
Administrative organizationTo improve efficiency and meet to our strategic objectives, the administrative services of the UPPA were restructured in January 2019 into “Pôles” or Clusters under the umbrella of the General and Common Services (SGC).

E2S UPPAE2S UPPA assists companies and public organizations in their energy and environmental transition.- COFUNDLaureate of the H2020- Marie Skłodowska-Curie – COFUND in 2019, the "European Doctoral Programme in Energy and Environment" EDENE program trains 30 international doctoral students who carry out their research activities in the fields of energy and the environment.
Operational Committee and contributors
The Operational Committee, which carried out the Gap Analysis and which implements the actions validated by the Steering Committee, is made up of actors who are daily involved in the institution's research activities or in direct connection with the research departments.
Given their function at the university, these actors were selected to represent the fundamental dimensions of the Award:
- human resources actors, for their expertise in HR
- research and valorization actors, including R4, R3, and R2, for their mastery of research environments
- representatives of the Major Projects of the university, for their experience with growth-generating projects
- actors from the Doctoral Schools for their involvement in the training of young researchers
- actors from the Directorate of Legal Affairs for regulatory aspects
- actors from the Directorate of Steering and Ongoing Improvement for their knowledge of continuous improvement projects.
