Nouvelle-Aquitaine Research NightFriday 26th of September 2026

On Friday 26th of September 2025, the University of Pau and Pays de l’Adour (UPPA) took part once again in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Research Night (nuit de la recherche en Nouvelle-Aquitaine). For this edition, the UPPA held the event in three cities : Pau, Hendaye, and Mont-de-Marsan.
This mainstream free event aims to make researchers’ trade known and to encourage scientific careers. Far from the institutional surroundings and sometimes in unusual places, Scientifics of all fields are urged to present their work in fun, relaxed, and innovative ways.
In Pau, Hendaye, and Mont-de-Marsan, more than 70 researchers, university lecturer and researchers, and PhD students of the UPPA were involved. This event was organised in these 3 cities by the University of Pau and Pays de l’Adour and the centre of scientific, technical, and industrial culture Lacq Odyssée/Science Odyssée.
Depending on the campuses, the event is organised in collaboration with :
- For the campus of Pau : the Musée national et domaine du château de Pau, the Parlement de Navarre, and the Danser sous la plume bookstore ;
- For the campus of Hendaye : the CPIE Littoral Basque, the Académie des sciences and the château observatoire Abbadia ;
- For the campus of Mont-de-Marsa : Le Molière, Théâtre de Gascogne and Mont-de-Marsan Agglo.
The Nouvelle-Aquitaine Research Night is an event supported and funded by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
