European Projects
UPPA actively participates in European programmes both in terms of training and research. The ambition is to develop partnerships, which are already numerous in this area, and demonstrates the growing success of competitive calls for projects in this field (Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, Interreg...).
Some examples of projects in coordination
- CHORALCoordinated by the Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour, CHORAL (Cultural Heritage Outreach in RomAnce Languages) is a Horizon Europe Marie SkÅ‚odowska Curie programme co-funded by the European Union. CHORAL aims to train high-quality international researchers and encourage the development of interdisciplinary, international and cross-sectoral research that addresses all aspects of cultural heritage. Successful applicants will enrol in co-tutored PhD programmes that will require international mobility. Students in the choir will benefit from dedicated events and a tailor-made doctoral training programme.
- Regions4ClimateThe Regions4Climate project aims to collaboratively develop and demonstrate a socially just transition to climate resilience. Based on cross-sectoral roadmaps developed with regional stakeholders, the project will create and implement innovations combining socio-cultural, technological, digital, business, governance and environmental solutions to reduce the vulnerability of European regions to the impacts of climate change.
- RESCUERThe EXCITE network is a European infrastructure initiative for scientists seeking to unlock the secrets of Earth materials using some of the world's best X-ray and electronic imaging facilities.
