“Reconciling research and development with a safe environment and a preserved biodiversity” Mission

The mission “Reconciling research and development with a safe environment and a preserved biodiversity” is composed of several autonomous research projects/programmes that contribute to generating knowledge and know-how in the following areas:

  • New generation of sustainable composites
  • Bio-inspiration (marine and wood-based materials)
  • Chemical contaminants in land waters
  • Metals in environmental systems
  • Mercury in biological systems
  • Sensors for emergent pollutants
  • Monitoring of subsurface activities

These autonomous programmes are supported by 5 high-level Masters degrees.
